Enfarm Partners with RMIT Vietnam to Advance AI for Agriculture

Enfarm is pleased to share a new step in its collaboration with the School of Science, Engineering & Technology, RMIT University Vietnam, with a shared focus on applying artificial intelligence and soil data to precision agriculture in Vietnam.

As part of RMIT Vietnam’s 2026 Master of Artificial Intelligence program, Enfarm will host three postgraduate AI students to work on a project focused on developing an agronomy-specialised large language model. The project will be conducted under the academic supervision of Associate Professor Arthur Tang, in collaboration with Enfarm’s technical team.

The project aims to develop an AI model capable of understanding soil data, sensor data and real-world farming contexts in Vietnam. This will support more accurate and practical crop advisory services tailored to local agricultural conditions.

Through this collaboration, Enfarm hopes to bring AI closer to farmers and help make farming decisions more data-driven, scientific and relevant to the specific conditions of each growing area.

Beyond the research project, Enfarm and RMIT Vietnam also look forward to expanding cooperation in training, internships, knowledge-sharing activities and talent development for the high-tech agriculture sector.

Enfarm believes that the combination of RMIT Vietnam’s research capabilities and Enfarm’s practical deployment experience will help create meaningful solutions and contribute to the digital transformation of Vietnamese agriculture.
