enfarm won at the Qualcomm Vietnam Innovation Challenge 2025 with three new technology products

Ho Chi Minh City — Qualcomm announced that enfarm was selected among the Top 3 of the Qualcomm Vietnam Innovation Challenge 2025 (QVIC 2025), receiving a USD 50,000 award along with advanced technical support and intellectual property assistance. As part of the program, enfarm filed its first patent application, strengthening its technology protection framework for the next phase of scaling.

Key highlight: AI Chatbot – a breakthrough in user access

The centerpiece of this year’s product suite is an AI chatbot for agriculture, allowing farmers to use it free of charge to ask questions and receive instant advice tailored to their local farming context. This represents a long-awaited digital touchpoint for the market: delivering immediate practical value while creating a large-scale trial channel for enfarm to naturally convert users to paid hardware and service packages, with significantly lower user acquisition costs.

Two companion products within QVIC

On-site analytical sensor device (edge computing): ensures timely recommendations directly in the field, suitable for areas with limited connectivity infrastructure, and helps standardize data-driven farming decisions.

4G data gateway: a large-scale data collection and management infrastructure, ready for wide deployment and collaboration with partners across the value chain.

The role of Qualcomm and its significance to enfarm

Qualcomm is a global technology leader in connectivity platforms and high-performance, low-power computing, pioneering foundational technologies for 3G, 4G, and 5G, as well as on-device AI solutions that drive digital transformation across multiple industries.

Its vision of “intelligent computing everywhere” reflects a strategic direction to bring advanced AI and connectivity into every device, from mobile phones to IoT systems and automobiles.

The Qualcomm Vietnam Innovation Challenge (QVIC) has been implemented in Vietnam since 2019, with the objective of nurturing technology startups and creating opportunities for collaboration and commercialization of AI, edge computing, and IoT solutions aligned with the “Make in Vietnam” orientation.

The program provides technical guidance, business mentorship, market access, and encouragement for patent filings, thereby enhancing product quality and strengthening the competitiveness of Vietnamese technology enterprise

Impact on the business model

  • Freemium user funnel: The free AI chatbot creates a scalable growth runway, reducing customer acquisition costs (CAC) while increasing conversion rates to paid devices and services.
  • Multi-layered revenue streams: The combination of hardware, SaaS, seasonal service packages, and platform/API licensing helps diversify revenue sources and improve profit margins as the business scales.
  • Geographic scalability: The three-product suite addresses the core challenges of data, connectivity, and operations, enabling expansion across Vietnam, ASEAN, and other emerging markets through B2B and B2B2F partnerships.
  • Intellectual property assets: The filed patent application strengthens competitive barriers and opens up future licensing opportunities.

Product rollout roadmap: enfarm will officially launch the AI chatbot alongside Enfarm App version 4.0 in September 2025, aiming to deliver a major breakthrough in product usefulness and user experience. The remaining two products are scheduled for market launch in the first half of 2026, enabling enfarm to optimize costs and expand into areas with limited or no mobile connectivity, as well as to serve large agribusinesses that are sensitive to moving data outside their internal systems.
