Enfarm presented the Outstanding Farmer Award to Mr. Coi Ngoc Pham

The “Outstanding Technology Farmer Award” is a token of appreciation from Enfarm to recognize the contributions of Mr. Coi, which have helped the Enfarm team continue to improve and develop its products.

At the workshop, Dr. Long Phi Ho, Deputy CEO of Enfarm, delivered a presentation on the topic “Applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) to improve farming efficiency for durian.” His talk emphasized how these technologies can enhance crop quality, reduce farming costs, and generate greater economic benefits for farmers.

Mr. Coi Ngoc Pham’s family farm is located on Min Mountain in Don Duong District, Lam Dong Province. At an elevation of more than 1,500 meters above sea level, the mountain offers a unique climate and soil, giving the coffee produced there the distinctive high-quality flavor of the Central Highlands.

In August 2024, Mr. Coi decided to invest in Enfarm’s nutrient measurement device to improve farming efficiency and coffee bean quality. His main requirement was a device that could provide accurate measurements of the actual N-P-K levels in the soil, enabling him to supplement nutrients appropriately and monitor fertilizer application. The Enfarm nutrient measurement device saved him significant time and costs compared to sending soil samples for laboratory testing: “This device lets me test immediately. It’s portable, unlike sending soil to the Pasteur Institute for testing, which takes a long time and costs a lot.”

After using the product, Mr. Coi found the data provided by Enfarm to be accurate and helpful for coffee farmers like himself. However, to fully validate the effectiveness of the care recommendations, he noted that more time was needed to monitor his crop’s growth in the upcoming season.
