Dr. Long Phi Ho presents technology to reduce flower and fruit drop at the scientific workshop.

On the morning of September 1, the People’s Committee of Krong Pac District organized a workshop on building and developing a sustainable durian ecosystem. Attending the workshop were Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thien Van, leaders of units under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and many durian export enterprises.

At the workshop, Dr. Long Phi Ho, Deputy CEO of Enfarm, delivered a presentation on the topic “Applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) to Improve Durian Cultivation Efficiency.” His talk highlighted how these technologies help enhance crop quality, reduce farming costs, and generate greater economic benefits for farmers.

Enfarm’s technology provides solutions that allow farmers to determine the right amount and type of fertilizer, control irrigation levels and soil pH, helping to:

  • Prevent flower and fruit drop in durian
  • Increase coffee yields by 20% with the same or less fertilizer
  • Save up to 50% of fertilizer use without affecting yields
  • Save up to 30% of irrigation water
